The enviroment is important to all of us. At Lighthouse Crematory, we take Green Cremation to a higher level. From the enviromentally friendly equipment we use, to the products we manufacture.
It is also important to us that we support our local community by keeping prices as low as possible and buying local. We have committed to buying as much product from locally owned private businesses.
We manufacture a lot of our own products, as another way to save you money
Our "Pine Tree State Green Casket" is made of solid pine, milled right here in Maine from Maine Pine.We use NO Metal at all. This Casket can be used in a "Green Burial" or can be cremated, if you just want a product with a lower carbon footprint.
Our Cremation Tray is made from materials made right here in Maine. We also use materials that are more enviromentally friendly.
Our materials use less energy to make and to cremate, unlike the products used by other crematories.
